I have a new obsession. Catherineholm. The enamel dishware was designed by Scandinavian designer, Grete Prytz Kittelsen in the 1970s, according to this article.
I heart this dishware. I am not alone.
It's expensive on ebay and etsy, where it's very easy to get in an ugly bidding war. Plus, buying vintage on the internets just isn't the same as hunting for it in a thrift or antique store.
So, about a month ago, Marcus and I packed up Josie and headed to Lancaster, PA for a little antiquing weekend. We stayed in a gorgeous cabin and visited Renningers, the Mad Hatter, and tons of other antique stores.
We did most of our cooking at home in the cabin. Though on Saturday morning we ordered sticky buns from the Amish woman next door. It was a lovely way to spend a weekend.
As you can see from the photo below, Josie wasn't that interested in Catherineholm.
