Every time I make muffins they get stuck in the muffin tin, no matter how much butter I grease the edges with. Recently I had an epiphany: I could use cupcake liners for my muffins. That way they would just pop right out of the pan.

Here's another one from Obvious Inc.: you can take a cranberry bread recipe and make muffins with it. That's what I did here. The bread recipe makes 12 small muffins. Top them with turbinado sugar to add a dash of something magical. I love the tartness of the cranberries married with the texture of the sugar crystals. The next time I make these, I'll add walnuts as well.
